Manufacturer's description
Eni MX 4006, directly via dissolution in suitable base stocks, is recommended to prepare multigrade crankcase engine oils meeting international requirements for automotive, marine and industrial lubricants. To obtain a VII additive, Eni MX 4006 should be dissolved at approximately 9% wt in low viscosity base oil, preferably SN 130. The VII additive is then diluted at 10% wt in SN 150 to yield a SSI of about 25 and a Thickening Power between 10.3-10.9 mm2/s.
Applications
- Eni MX 4006, directly via dissolution in suitable base stocks, is recommended to prepare multigrade crankcase engine oils meeting international requirements automotive, marine and industrial lubricants.
