PETRONAS ATO 100 belongs to the PETRONAS ATO Series of high performance air tool oils, specially developed for pneumatically operated rock drills used in underground and surface mining, as well as percussion and rotary air-operated tools. It is formulated with high quality selected mineral base oils enhanced with advanced anti-wear, anti-rust, anti-oxidant and anti-foam additives. The oil provides excellent anti-wear and metal-wetting properties, good adhesiveness and effective fog and emulsion control, with fog generation kept to a minimum and non-toxic. It prevents detonation and carbon deposits, protects components from excessive wear, ensures proper protection during cold starts, and is compatible with most metal alloys, seals and elastomers, helping to prevent leaks and extend equipment life. Grade 100 has a kinematic viscosity of 100 cSt at 40°C and 11.8 cSt at 100°C, a viscosity index of 107, a flash point of 240°C and a pour point of -27°C. PETRONAS ATO oils meet ISO 6743-11 Types PAC and PBC performance levels.
