Manufacturer's description
IDRAULICAR AP 31 is a mineral-based anti-wear hydraulic oil in the ISO VG 32 viscosity grade, formulated for the hydraulic circuits of mobile equipment. It is intended for earth-moving machines and for the independent hydraulic systems of agricultural tractors, where a reliable HLP-type fluid is required. The oil has a typical viscosity of 30.46 cSt at 40 °C, a viscosity index of 103, a flash point of 190 °C and a pour point of -27 °C, giving dependable behaviour in everyday working conditions. IDRAULICAR AP 31 meets the requirements of DIN 51524 HLP 32, Denison HF0/HF1/HF2 and Cincinnati Milacron P-68.

Part 2 of the German hydraulic fluid standard: HLP oils — mineral oils with oxidation, corrosion and antiwear additives. It is the most widely quoted reference in industrial hydraulics.

The most severe level of the Denison hydraulic fluid specification: the oil must pass the wear test on both a vane pump and a piston pump, dry and in the presence of water. HF-0 subsumes HF-1 and HF-2.

An approval number from the Fives Cincinnati list of fluids for use in its own machine tools. Approved hydraulic fluids must pass its own wear, filterability and water separation tests, beyond the DIN 51524-2 level.
