Manufacturer's description
JOTA IND EP 2 is a lubricating grease based on refined mineral oils and a lithium soap thickener, with a particularly strong extreme-pressure (EP) additive package. Its formulation gives it adhesive properties and resistance to water wash-out, so the grease stays in place on the lubricated component even in damp or wet surroundings. It is an EP grease for the lubrication of heavily loaded enclosed bearings, gears and gearboxes of industrial machinery, over an operating temperature range from -20 °C to +140 °C. Typical properties include a dropping point of min. 185 °C, a worked penetration of 265-295 mm/10, a welding load above 300 kg and a base oil viscosity of 290 cSt at 40 °C. JOTA IND EP 2 is classified NLGI 2, ISO 6743-9 ISO-L-XBDEB 0-1-2-3 and DIN 51502 KP … N-20.
