Manufacturer's description

Mobilube PTX is a SAE 75W-90 multipurpose gear lubricant developed to provide outstanding performance specifically in Porsche 911 transaxles, offering low-temperature fluidity combined with high-temperature stability for excellent wear protection across a wide range of operating conditions. It carries approval TE-ML 11 and is of API GL-4 and GL-5 quality level. The combination of synthetic base fluid technology with special high performance additives has been carefully formulated to meet Porsche's low-temperature fluidity requirements, while also providing excellent synchromesh compatibility and shiftability alongside strong wear protection. Benefits include excellent low-temperature fluidity for easier cold gear changing compared with conventional SAE 80W-90 and 75W-90 grades, excellent synchromesh compatibility and durability, good thermal and oxidative stability, and a high level of wear protection under some of the most severe operating conditions.
