TUTELA TRANSMISSION STARGEAR F (PLI code 76442) is a 100% synthetic lubricant for synchronised manual gearboxes, built on wholly synthetic technology and particularly suitable for Mercedes-Benz and MAN van and truck gearboxes. Its specific formulation allows use in gearboxes that work in harsh conditions and with high loads in the presence of high temperatures, and Tutela STARGEAR F allows prolonged intervals between oil changes. Typical values for the SAE 75W-90 grade include a kinematic viscosity of 14.6 cSt at 100°C, a viscosity index of 160, a Brookfield viscosity of 55,000 cPs at -40°C, a pour point of -51°C and a flash point of 223°C. The product meets the API GL-4 specification, holds the MB-approval 235.11 and meets MAN 341 Type MB. Supplied in 1-litre packs; always check the gearbox manufacturer's requirements before use.
