Mobilcut is Mobil Industrial's line of high-performance, water-miscible metal removal fluids, formulated with leading-edge base oils, additives and emulsifiers. The non-chlorinated product is supplied as a concentrate for mixing with water at the point of use, with low foam potential and long-term corrosion protection for machines and components. Mobilcut 100 is a conventional milky soluble oil that mixes readily with different waters to form stable emulsions, suited to a wide range of cutting and grinding on ferrous and non-ferrous materials where economical performance matters most. It is used for general machining of easy-to-machine steels and copper alloys in light-to-moderate-duty milling, turning, sawing, boring, drilling and reaming.

Applications

• Mobilcut 100 is used for general machining of easy-to-machine steels and copper alloys, in light-to-moderate-duty operations such as milling, turning, sawing, boring, drilling and reaming.
• Mobilcut 140 is used for machining aluminium and high-machinability steels, in moderate-to-heavy-duty operations such as milling, turning, sawing, boring, drilling and reaming, where the lubricity of a soluble oil is desired.
• Mobilcut 250 is a semi-synthetic cutting fluid intended primarily for machining aluminium and aluminium alloys.
• It can also be used on a wide variety of ferrous materials where a more versatile fluid is needed.
• Mobilcut 320 is a synthetic, mineral-oil-free grinding fluid recommended for grinding steels and cast iron.
