Mobilmet 762 is part of the Mobilmet 760 Series. It is an extra high performance, chlorine-free neat cutting oil for severe cutting operations, especially on difficult-to-machine steels. It is not recommended for use with copper and its alloys. It delivers superior surface finish, extended tool life and control of built-up edge, while its light colour keeps the work area visible and helps achieve closer tolerances, and its anti-mist formulation limits oil mist near the machine tool. Mobilmet 762 is particularly suited to drilling, deep-hole drilling (under 20 mm diameter), threading, tapping, parting-off and automatic-lathe operations on small workpieces.
