Shell Tellus S2 VX fluids are high-performance hydraulic fluids based on Group II base oils that deliver outstanding protection and performance across a wide temperature range. They resist degradation under demanding temperature and mechanical stress conditions and are ideal for most mobile equipment and other applications subject to a wide range of operating temperatures.

• Precision hydraulic systemsPrecision hydraulic systems demand excellent viscosity control throughout the operating cycle. Shell Tellus S2 VX offers greater temperature-viscosity stability compared with ISO HM fluids, which helps improve the performance of these systems.

• A cleanliness grade of ISO 4406 20/18/15 or better (measured at the filling line) reduces the impact of contaminants on filters, extending filter life and improving system protection.
• The formulation provides rapid air release and exceptional foam control, helping efficient hydraulic power transfer and minimising the impact of cavitation-induced oxidation that can shorten fluid life.
