Manufacturer's description
Anhydrous calcium grease on a mineral base oil, light amber in colour. It is the grease laid over eni GR VN on ships' launching ways, where it does the actual lubricating during the launch. _(Eni publishes no prose description for this range — this is what its data sheet states)_
Applications
- Eni Grease CC 4 is a yellow anhydrous-calcium base grease, smooth-textured. The calcic base gives good water washout resistance characteristics both in presence of hot or cold water. Eni Grease CC 4 can be used for the lubrication of pins, bearings,open gears, guides and joints also exposed to the moisture,water action and subjected to thermal and mechanical stresses. Reccomended for the lubrication of ships' slipways guides in ship launching operations in combination with Eni GR VR product.
