PETRONAS Tutela Axle 300 85W-140 is a high-quality axle fluid delivering optimized load-carrying performance and component durability for today's axles, differentials and final drives over their standard service life. It is recommended in transmissions requiring API GL-5. The heavier 85W-140 grade protects business profits and vehicle availability while reducing operating costs through longer axle life, driven by anti-wear, extreme-pressure (EP) and anti-pitting resistance that extends component life, good thermal and oxidation stability that prevents deposits and sludge, and good anti-rust and corrosion protection. It also delivers an excellent driving experience through significantly reduced axle noise. Tutela Axle 300 85W-140 meets API GL-5 and MIL PRF-2105D, with approvals including ZF TE-ML 05A/07A/08/12S/16D/21A and IVECO 18-1805 Class RAM 2. Typical properties include a density of 0.905 g/cm³ at 15°C, a kinematic viscosity of 26.4 cSt at 100°C and 359 cSt at 40°C, a viscosity index of 97, a Brookfield viscosity of 90,000 cP at -12°C, a pour point of -18°C and a flash point of 220°C.
