PETRONAS Grease FG is an aluminium complex food-grade grease recommended for lubricating equipment in the food processing industry across a wide range of operating conditions, including all enclosed journal and anti-friction bearings, slides and cams. It is intended for plant and mobile equipment handling food products where incidental food contact may occur, with typical applications including bottlers, canners, seaming rolls, slicers, peelers, cutters, dicers, hydrostatic cookers, grain handling equipment, malting operations and packaging equipment. Recommended operating temperature range is -20°C to +120°C (max +130°C). The grease is white in colour with a smooth, aluminium complex thickener structure, giving low oil separation, good roll stability and effective water washout and water resistance, along with a pass on the SKF R2F B test at 120°C. Its dropping point of 240°C and Four Ball EP weld point of 500 kgf indicate good high-temperature and load-carrying performance for food-industry duty. Grease FG meets DIN 51502 KP2K-20, ISO 12924 L-XB(F)CDB2 and carries NSF registration No. 172369, with a worked penetration of 282 mm/10 and a base oil viscosity of 550 cSt at 40°C.
