Mobil Delvac™ Super 1400E 15W-40 is a high performance diesel engine oil that provides protection for diesel engines operating under severe service conditions, for both on- and off-highway applications. ExxonMobil recommends it for a wide range of heavy-duty applications and operating environments in trucking, mining, construction, quarrying and agricultural industries, covering naturally aspirated and turbo-charged diesel equipment from European, Japanese and American manufacturers. Its thermal and oxidation stability helps control sludge build-up and deposits, and its TBN reserve helps control deposits over the oil's service life. Stay-in-grade shear stability helps reduce oil consumption and provide wear protection, while excellent detergency/dispersancy helps protect and keep engines clean; component compatibility supports long gasket and seal life. SAE 15W-40, Mobil Delvac Super 1400E 15W-40 carries MTU Oil Category 1 builder approval and is recommended by ExxonMobil for applications requiring RENAULT TRUCKS RD and RD-2 and VOLVO VDS-2.
