PETRONAS Syntium 7000 DM 0W-30 is a synthetic, mid-SAPS (sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulphur) engine oil that has been specifically designed to help prolong the life and maintain the efficiency of emission systems in diesel passenger cars. It is particularly suitable for diesel engines equipped with particulate filters from manufacturers such as Mercedes-Benz, and also for some petrol applications such as Renault. The oil suits all types of vehicles, including passenger cars, SUVs and light vans with the most advanced technology, fitted with emission control devices such as diesel particulate filters and catalytic converters, fuel injectors, multi-valves, turbochargers or superchargers operating under the most severe conditions. It is also suitable for vehicles running on biofuel. Syntium 7000 DM 0W-30 provides excellent protection of exhaust after-treatment systems for Mercedes engines, superior reduction of deposits and wear for maximised engine response, exceptional thermal stability that protects against high-temperature sludge and varnish, superior fuel economy, extended drain capability up to the maximum specified by the manufacturer, and instant lubrication at start-up that minimises friction and wear.
