PETRONAS Syntium Supreme E 0W-40 is an advanced synthetic technology engine oil formulated with °CoolTech+™ technology, at the cutting edge of PETRONAS' fluid technology. Its enhanced heat-controlling ability protects the engine and maximises its efficiency and power output, reducing fuel consumption and emissions. It is specifically formulated for passenger cars, SUVs and vans using direct-injection turbocharged petrol engines and diesel engines such as those from Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen (refer to the owner's manual for the recommended grade), and is also suitable for biofuel-powered vehicles and those fitted with fuel injectors, multi-valve systems or turbochargers operating under severe conditions. Benefits include ultimate ability to maintain oil thickness and reduce engine wear, protection against oil oxidation and thickening throughout the drain interval, effective control against oil degradation for maximum efficiency, and effective control of sludge build-up. The oil meets API SP/CF and ACEA A3/B4 specifications, holds MB-Approval 229.5 and VW 502.00/505.00 approvals, and meets the Renault RN 0710, Ford WSS M2C 937-A, MB 229.3 and BMW LL-01 performance levels.
