PETRONAS Sprinta F900 5W-40 is a fully synthetic engine oil suitable for all types of 4-stroke gasoline motorcycle engines, clutches and gearboxes, especially for high-performance 4-stroke motorcycle engines. It is also suitable for portable power equipment engines requiring JASO MA2 or MA, API SN lubricants, and is suitable for motorcycles from leading Japanese, European and American manufacturers operating under normal to severe riding conditions. Its synthetic technology base fluid enables wide-temperature operation, delivering protection at start-up and effective lubrication at high temperature. It provides exceptional oil film strength to withstand shear stress for excellent bike responsiveness and longer bike life, exceptional control of deposit build-up especially at high operating temperature, exceptional oxidation resistance and low volatility for potential extended drain intervals, and helps eliminate clutch slippage while enhancing clutch performance and delivering exceptional engine, gear and clutch protection. The oil meets or exceeds API SN and JASO MA2 requirements, and also meets JASO MA. Typical physical characteristics include a density of 0.853 g/cm³ at 15°C, a viscosity of 14.2 cSt at 100°C, a viscosity index of 170, a flash point of 248°C, a pour point of -39°C and a sulphated ash content of 0.74%.
