Mobilube 1 SHC 75W-90 is a fully synthetic, high-performance commercial gear lubricant formulated with advanced synthetic base oils and a state-of-the-art additive system. It is engineered for heavy-duty manual transmissions and rear axles operating across wide temperature ranges, where extreme pressures and shock loading are expected, covering on-highway light- and heavy-duty trucks, buses, vans and cars, as well as off-highway construction, quarrying and agricultural equipment. The formulation delivers excellent thermal and oxidation stability, a high inherent viscosity index, an extremely low pour point and outstanding low-temperature fluidity, remaining fluid without channeling at sub-zero temperatures. Key benefits include outstanding protection against low-speed/high-torque wear and high-speed scoring, excellent shear stability that retains film strength under severe operating conditions, rust and corrosion protection of copper and its alloys, enhanced frictional properties with fuel-economy potential and improved shiftability, and compatibility with typical automotive seals and gaskets. Mobilube 1 SHC 75W-90 meets or exceeds the API GL-5, GL-4 and MT-1 gear-oil service classifications, and carries approvals including MAN 341 Typ Z2, MAN 342 Typ S1, SAE J2360, several ZF TE-ML specifications, Mack GO-J, DTFR 12B140 and Scania STO 2:0 A FS, STO 1:0 and STO 1:1 G.
