The oil is a stable, stay-in-grade formulation intended for passenger car and light-duty gasoline and direct-injection diesel engines. It is designed for extended oil drain intervals where specified by the engine manufacturer and is particularly suitable for higher-mileage vehicles above 100,000 km. It is not recommended for gasoline or diesel vehicles equipped with exhaust gas after-treatment systems. Made from a proprietary blend of high-performance synthetic base stocks with a precisely balanced additive system, it delivers engine wear protection, prevents the buildup of harmful deposits, offers enhanced cleaning technology for higher-mileage cars, improved protection against variable fuel quality, and quick protection at start-up. Mobil 1 FS 5W-40 holds BMW Longlife 01, MB-Approval 229.3/229.5, Porsche A40, RENAULT RN0700/RN0710 and VW 502 00/505 00 approvals, is suitable for API CF applications, and meets or exceeds API SN, SN PLUS, SP, SQ, ACEA A3/B4 and AAE (STO 003) Group B7.

• Mobil 1 FS 5W-40 is a stable, stay-in-grade engine oil intended for use in passenger car and light-duty gasoline and DI diesel engines: • Designed for extended oil drain intervals where specified by the engine manufacturer • Suitable for vehicles with higher mileage; greater than 100,000 km • Suitable for vehicles requiring the specifications listed below • Not recommended for gasoline or diesel vehicles equipped with exhaust gas after-treatment systems. Owner's manual should be consulted for recommended viscosity grade and specification.
