Mobil Delvac XHP Extra 10W-40 is a synthetic extra high performance diesel engine oil engineered to provide outstanding lubrication to modern, high performance diesel engines used in severe on- and off-highway applications. It uses high performance base oils for excellent low-temperature fluidity, high-temperature viscosity retention, volatility control and fuel economy improvement, enhanced with an advanced additive system that protects all parts of the engine, and is engineered to provide long oil drain intervals in modern diesel engines. It is recommended by ExxonMobil for naturally aspirated and turbocharged diesel engines from European and Japanese manufacturers, covering on-highway light and heavy-duty trucking as well as off-highway construction, mining, quarrying and agriculture. Key benefits include outstanding protection against oil thickening, high-temperature deposits, sludge build-up, oil degradation and corrosion, reduced engine scuffing and bore polishing with excellent ring-sticking protection, extended TBN reserve, excellent low-temperature properties for improved pumpability and start-up wear protection, and stay-in-grade shear stability with low volatility. Mobil Delvac XHP Extra 10W-40 carries approvals including Mack EO-M Plus and EO-N, MTU Oil Category 3, RENAULT TRUCKS RLD-2, VOITH RETARDER Oil Class A, VOLVO VDS-3 and MAN M 3277, is recommended for applications requiring API CF, RENAULT TRUCKS RLD and VOLVO VDS-2, and meets or exceeds API CH-4, CI-4 and RENAULT TRUCKS RXD.
