Mobil Delvac XHP Ultra LE 5W-30 M is an extra high performance diesel engine oil engineered to provide outstanding protection and fuel economy potential in modern, high performance, low emission engines used in severe on-highway applications. It is formulated with advanced synthetic technology base oils offering excellent low-temperature fluidity, high-temperature viscosity retention and volatility control, and an advanced additive system expertly engineered to help prolong the life and maintain the efficiency of emission reduction systems such as the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). ExxonMobil recommends it for the latest generation of MAN trucks and buses requiring MAN M 3677 approved lubricants, for on-highway light and heavy-duty trucking, and for modern heavy-duty engines equipped with DPF in line with owner's manual recommendations; it can also be used, where ultra-low sulfur fuel is available, in commercial vehicle and bus engines without particulate filters for which conventional SAPS oils per MAN M 3277 and M 3275-1 are recommended. Key benefits include excellent protection against oil thickening, oil degradation, high-temperature deposits and sludge build-up, excellent protection against wear, scuffing, bore polishing and corrosion, excellent low-temperature fluidity for cold-climate operation and start-up wear protection, advanced low-ash componentry that helps extend DPF durability, and advanced formulation viscometrics with potential fuel economy benefits alongside stay-in-grade shear stability and very low volatility.
