PETRONAS Urania Prime Long Drain 10W-40 is a premium heavy-duty engine oil with extended service interval capabilities, formulated with StrongTech technology, forming a uniquely strong fluid film that protects the engine, retains performance and keeps trucks running and available for longer, helping reduce total cost of ownership. It is suitable for all types of heavy-duty diesel applications, including high-output Euro V engines fitted with EGR technology and most using SCR NOx reduction systems, as well as new and old turbocharged and naturally aspirated diesel engines, on-highway and off-highway, running on high or ultra-low sulphur diesel and biodiesel. It is approved Daimler Truck Fluid Release (DTFR) 15B120, backward compatible with MB 228.5, E4-16 and E7-16, and replaces Urania 5000 10W-40. Exceptional thermal and oxidation stability extends the drain interval and engine life, acidity is kept under control for corrosion protection, and it offers outstanding anti-wear protection, effective soot control, improved cold-start lubrication and better fluid-film resistance under severe mechanical stress. Urania Prime Long Drain 10W-40 meets ACEA E4, E7, API CI-4, Global DHD-1 and JASO DH-1, and is approved DTFR 15B120, Mack EO-N, MAN M3277, Renault RLD-2 and Volvo VDS-3, with performance level in line with Cummins CES 20078/20077/20076, Deutz DQC IV-18, Detroit Diesel DDC93K295, IVECO 18-1804 Class T3 E4, MB 228.5 and MTU Oil Category 3.

Applications

• This helps to reduce the total cost of ownership. Suitable for all types of heavy-duty diesel applications including high-output Euro V engines fitted with emission control systems using EGR technology and most using SCR NOx reduction systems. It is also suitable for new and old turbocharged and naturally aspirated diesel engines, both on-highway and off-highway, running on high or ultra-low Sulphur diesel and biodiesel. Approved Daimler Truck Fluid Release (DTFR) 15B120, fully backward compatible and suitable for use for vehicles recommending the previous Daimler MB 228.5 specification.
