Manufacturer's description

PETRONAS Arbor Alfaprime Synth 10W-40 is a premium engine oil dedicated to agricultural and construction machinery, protecting against oxidation, decomposition and wear while keeping optimal piston cleanliness and viscosity stability for a longer life-cycle. It is a low SAPS oil suitable for Tier IV and Stage V heavy-duty diesel applications, including modern low-emission engines with DPF, SCR, DOC and EGR after-treatment, and also older turbocharged and naturally aspirated engines on high or ultra-low sulphur diesel and biodiesel. Compliant with the latest CK-4 requirements, it offers optimised performance for extended drain intervals and is fully backward compatible with previous E6-16, E7-16 and E9-16 classifications, suiting AGCO, Bobcat, Caterpillar, Doosan, Hitachi, Hyundai, John Deere, Liebherr, Renault Tractors, Same Deutz Fahr, Sumitomo and Volvo CE machinery. It meets API CK-4, CJ-4, ACEA E7, E8, E11, CAT ECF-3/ECF-2/ECF-1a and JASO DH-2 specifications, with Deutz DQC IV-18 LA, DTFR 15C120, MTU Oil Category 3.1 and Renault RLD-3 approvals, plus Volvo VDS-4.5, Cummins CES 20086/20081, Detroit Diesel DFS93K222/218, MAN M3775, MB 228.51/228.52/228.31 and Volvo VDS-4 performance levels.

Applications

  • Perfect solution for high and long-lasting performances for your hard-daily work, protecting your tireless machinery from loss of performances and unplanned downtimes. PETRONAS Arbor Alfaprime Synth 10W-40 is a low SAPS oil that is suitable for Tier IV and Stage V heavy duty diesel applications including modern, high-output, low emission engines fitted with emission control systems using DPF, SCR, DOC and EGR technologies. It is also suitable for older turbocharged and naturally aspirated diesel engine generations running on high or ultra-low Sulphur diesel and biodiesel. Its formulation, compliance with latest CK-4 stringent requirements, offers optimized performance for extended drain interval. Fully backward compatible with previous E6-16, E7-16, and E9-16 classifications. Suitable for use on all makes and brands recommending a minimum performance level of ACEA E6, E9, E8, E11, API CJ-4 or API CK-4. Suitable for AGCO (Massey Fergusson, Fendt, Valtra, Challenger), Bobcat, Caterpillar, Doosan, Hitachi, Hyundai, John Deere, Liebherr, Renault Tractors, Same Deutz Fahr, Sumitomo, Volvo CE, where specifications listed below are recommended as minimum requirement.
