PETRONAS Urania LD9 10W-40 is a synthetic low-SAPS heavy-duty engine oil developed in co-engineering with IVECO and FPT, based on a technology capable of meeting ACEA E7, E9 and E11, to offer high performance and enhanced engine protection. Its particular formulation is the result of thousands of hours of laboratory, bench and road tests. It is suitable for Euro V and Euro VI engines fitted with HI-eSCR systems, common-rail injection, particulate filters and variable-geometry turbines, and also for IVECO Daily CNG where indicated. The new low-SAPS formulation offers improved wear protection and thermal stability, high protection for the particulate filter against combustion residues, and is backward compatible with the previous-generation API CJ-4. PETRONAS Urania LD9 10W-40 meets ACEA E11, E7 and API CK-4, CJ-4, is approved to IVECO 18-1804 TLS CK4 (C.T.R. I037.F21) and IVECO 18-1804 TLS E9, and offers a performance level in line with DAF standard drain, Mack EOS-4.5, MAN M 3575, MB 228.31, MTU Oil Category 2.1, Renault VI RLD-3 and Volvo VDS-4.5.
