Manufacturer's description

Divinol Multimax Truck LS 10W-40 (Art-Nr. 50030) is a high-performance engine oil (Low SAPS oil) for use over a complete annual cycle. Today's engines like those lubricated by Divinol Multimax Truck LS 10W-40 face intensified operating conditions due to significantly higher mechanical and thermal demands linked to turbocharging technology. At high temperatures Divinol Multimax Truck LS 10W-40 secures trouble-free lubrication performance and thus a stable, non-tearing oil film, while low temperatures are also well mastered. Divinol Multimax Truck LS 10W-40 is specially suited for heavily loaded commercial-vehicle diesel engines with emission-optimised units, including aftertreatment systems, making it readily usable to meet new exhaust emission standards. It is recommended for heavily stressed diesel truck engines including turbochargers and catalysts, for the latest exhaust standards and longer oil change intervals, observing the respective manufacturer specifications. It meets ACEA E11/E9/E8/E7/E6, API CK-4 and JASO DH-2, with manufacturer approval DTFR 15C110, and Divinol recommendation covering DTFR 15C100, MB 228.51, MB 228.31, MAN 3477/3575/3275, Volvo VDS-4.5, Renault RLD-4, DAF XTREME LD Level, Caterpillar ECF-3/ECF-2/ECF-1, Deutz DQC IV-10 LA, Scania LA, MTU 3.1, Cummins CES 20081/20086, Mack EOS-4.5, Iveco 18-1804 TLS E9, Detroit Diesel DDC 93K218/93K222, LIEBHERR LH-00-ENG3A-LA, NATO code O-1180 and Bw code OY1260.

Applications

  • Recommended for heavily stressed diesel truck engines including turbochargers and catalysts, for the latest exhaust standards and longer oil change intervals, observing the respective manufacturer specifications.

Performance & benefits

  • specially suited for heavily loaded commercial-vehicle diesel engines with emission-optimised units (including aftertreatment systems)
  • stable, non-tearing lubricating film at high temperatures
  • good low-temperature performance
  • usable for new/latest exhaust emission standards
  • supports longer oil change intervals

Standards & approvals

  • ACEA E11

ACEA E11 — heavy-duty diesel, low SAPS, extended drain

An ACEA sequence for Euro VI and later heavy-duty diesel engines fitted with DPF and SCR. It requires low-SAPS additive chemistry (reduced sulphur, ash and phosphorus) and the oxidation resistance needed for extended drain intervals.

  • ACEA E9

    ACEA E9 oil sequence

ACEA's sequence for heavy-duty diesel engines with a particulate filter. A capped sulphated-ash level, the counterpart of E7 for DPF-equipped engines. One of ACEA's current sequences.Source

  • ACEA E8

    ACEA E8 oil sequence

    ACEA's sequence for heavy-duty diesel engines.Source

  • ACEA E7

    ACEA E7 oil sequence

    ACEA's sequence for heavy-duty diesel engines.Source

  • ACEA E6

    ACEA E6 oil sequence

ACEA's sequence for heavy-duty diesel engines with full exhaust aftertreatment. A low-SAPS level, ash capped to protect the particulate filter, at extended drain intervals. One of ACEA's current sequences.Source

  • Diesel engine oil, API CK-4 performance level

API's service category for compression-ignition engines. Current category.Source

  • JASO DH-2

JASO DH-2 — diesel engine oil

The Japanese standard for heavy-duty diesel engine oils in DPF-equipped engines, with sulphated ash capped so the filter does not clog.

  • Daimler Truck DTFR 15C110 (formerly MB 228.51) — low-SAPS engine oil, Euro VI

A low-SAPS oil for high-performance diesel engines with aftertreatment, with severe piston cleanliness and wear protection requirements. The usual Euro VI level. Daimler Truck renumbered the MB-Approval sheets into the DTFR series; MB 228.51 and DTFR 15C110 are the same requirement.Source

  • NATO Code O-1180

NATO Code O-1180 — engine oil

A NATO supply code identifying a heavy-duty diesel engine oil.

  • Cat ECF-3

    Caterpillar ECF-3

Caterpillar's current engine crankcase fluid category, with capped sulphated ash, for CAT engines fitted with a particulate filter.

  • The Cummins specification matching the API CK-4 level, for modern heavy-duty diesel engines with exhaust aftertreatment.

  • Detroit Fluids Specification 93K218

Detroit Diesel's engine oil specification at the API CJ-4 level, for engines with a particulate filter. Sulphated ash is capped to protect the DPF.

  • Deutz's highest oil quality class, 2010 issue, in its low-ash form: a fully synthetic oil for extended drain intervals.

  • Daimler Truck DTFR 15C100 (formerly MB 228.31) — low-SAPS engine oil

A low-ash engine oil for medium- and high-duty diesel engines fitted with exhaust aftertreatment. Daimler Truck renumbered the MB-Approval sheets into the DTFR series; MB 228.31 and DTFR 15C100 are the same requirement.Source

  • IVECO 18-1804 Class TLS E9 — heavy-duty engine oil

    IVECO's heavy-duty engine oil standard 18-1804, class TLS E9.Source

  • Mack EOS-4.5

    Mack EOS-4.5 — heavy-duty diesel engine oil

Mack's engine oil specification matching the API CK-4 level, for Mack and Volvo trucks with exhaust aftertreatment.

  • MAN M 3275-1 — truck engine oil

MAN's specification for medium-drain truck engine oils at the ACEA E7 level, without a low-ash requirement.

  • MAN M 3477 — low-SAPS extended-drain oil

MAN's specification for synthetic low-SAPS extended-drain oils in Euro IV–VI engines with a particulate filter.

  • MAN M 3575 — Euro VI engine oil

MAN's engine oil specification for Euro VI trucks, with SCR system protection requirements.

  • Mercedes-Benz low-SAPS truck diesel engine oil

A low-ash Mercedes-Benz approval for diesel engines fitted with exhaust aftertreatment. Daimler Truck now issues the same requirement as DTFR 15C100; the two designations cover the same oil.

  • Mercedes-Benz low-SAPS truck diesel engine oil, Euro VI

A low-SAPS Mercedes-Benz approval for high-performance diesel engines with aftertreatment, with severe piston-cleanliness and wear-protection requirements at the usual Euro VI level. Daimler Truck now issues the same requirement as DTFR 15C110.
