Applications

• Shell Helix Ultra Professional AM-L 5W-30 for gasoline and diesel engines is approved as meeting the Mercedes-Benz MB 229.51 and BMW LL-04 technical requirements and the low-SAPS specifications.
• Specially formulated for use in diesel engines with a particulate filter (DPF technology).
• The low-SAPS formulation helps protect DPF systems from blocking.

• Fuel-efficient: passes the ACEA test MB M111FE (CEC-L-54-T-96), with a minimum 2.5% fuel-economy improvement (average of three results), and the MB NEDC W204 test.
• Mercedes-Benz specific tests: passes the MB M271 sludge, camshaft, ring and piston wear tests, and the OM646LA (CEC-L-099-08) chamber and cylinder wear test.
• Durability and engine wear: passes the Peugeot TU3M valve/camshaft test (CEC-L-38-A-94) and the ASTM Sequence VIII bearing corrosion test (ASTM D6709).
