PETRONAS Syntium 3000 FR 5W-30 is a fully synthetic lubricant formulated with °CoolTech™ technology that effectively controls damaging heat, resists oxidation and prevents oil degradation and deposit build-up, protecting engine parts and maintaining efficiency for the full drain interval. It is especially designed for passenger cars, SUVs and vans using direct-injection turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines such as Ford and Renault, and is also suitable for vehicles fitted with fuel injectors, multi-valves or turbochargers operating under severe conditions. Benefits include exceptional resistance to oxidation and oil degradation that effectively controls sludge for maximum engine efficiency and lower emissions, superior lubrication capability that reduces wear in the valvetrain and cylinder wall, and superior piston cleanliness by controlling combustion-driven piston temperature rise for a longer engine life and maximized power output and fuel efficiency. The oil meets the API SN/SP specification and the ACEA A5/B5 performance level, and carries approvals Ford WSS-M2C913-C and WSS-M2C913-D, Renault RN0700 and Jaguar STJLR.03.5003, plus FCA performance level 955535-G1. Typical physical characteristics include a density of 0.8475 g/cm³ at 15°C, a kinematic viscosity of 9.76 cSt at 100°C, a viscosity index of 172, a flash point of 230°C, a sulphated ash content of 1.13%, a TBN of 10.1 mgKOH/g, CCS of 3470 mPa·s at -30°C and a pour point of -39°C.

Applications

• PETRONAS Syntium 3000 FR 5W-30 is especially designed for passenger cars, SUVs and vans using direct injection turbocharged gasoline engines and diesel engines such as in Ford and Renault (please refer to the owner’s manual). It is also suitable for vehicles equipped with fuel injectors, multi-valves or turbochargers operating under severe conditions.
