PETRONAS Syntium 5000 XS 5W-30 is a synthetic, mid-SAPS (sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulphur) engine oil formulated for the latest generation of petrol and diesel engines complying with Euro 4 and Euro 5 emission standards. It has been specifically designed to help prolong the life and maintain the efficiency of emission systems in both diesel and petrol passenger cars. The oil is particularly suitable for diesel passenger cars fitted with particulate filters, such as BMW and Mercedes-Benz models, and for the most advanced engines with fuel injectors, multi-valves, turbochargers or superchargers operating under the most severe conditions. It is also suitable for vehicles running on biofuel and for engines requiring GM/OPEL dexos 2, covering the older GM LL-A-025 and GM LL-B-025 requirements as well. Syntium 5000 XS 5W-30 delivers exceptional high-temperature oxidation control for stable lubrication, outstanding control of high-temperature deposits, resistance to evaporation loss, superior fuel economy, extended drain capability up to the maximum specified by the manufacturer and instant lubrication at start-up. Specifications and approvals: SAE 5W-30, API SN/CF, ACEA C3, BMW Longlife-04, MB-Approval 229.51, dexos 2; it also meets MB 229.31 and VW 505.01 requirements. Always consult the owner's manual for the recommended viscosity grade and specifications.

• Syntium 5000 XS has been specifically designed to help prolong the life and maintain the efficiency of emission systems in both diesel and gasoline passenger car vehicles. Syntium 5000 XS is particularly suitable for diesel passenger car vehicles fitted with particulate filters such as BMW, Mercedes Benz etc… Syntium 5000 XS is also suitable for engines requiring GM/OPEL dexos 2 and will also cover the older GM LL-A- 025 and GM LL-B-025 requirements.
