General Motors licenses engine oils through its dexos programme (dexos1 for petrol, dexos2 for European petrol and diesel engines) and defines the Dexron automatic transmission fluids. The GM-LL-A/B-025 norms cover older Opel engines. A licensed product appears on GM’s public list.
